As an organiser of conferences, meetings and training courses, you will be looking for the best possible standard for you and your colleagues. Here at the Lee Wood Hotel, we feel that we have the product just right, with well appointed conference rooms, individually furnished bedrooms and a stylish restaurant; in fact, everything you would expect from a hotel overflowing with character.
The Lee Wood Hotel has 38 en-suite bedrooms with hard wired high speed internet access (HSIA). Telephones are equipped with data ports. Lap top safes are also available in all bedrooms. Wireless internet access is available in the public areas of the hotel.
The spa town of Buxton is not only famous for its pure spring water but also boasts the fine Frank Matcham designed Opera House where there is always a varied programme of events including Opera, Comedy, Plays and Musicals – a great venue for Corporate Hospitality.
Buxton is centrally situated for delegates traveling from all over Great Britain. With easy access from the M1 and M6, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby and The Potteries, Buxton has become the choice of decision makers looking for a location with a difference.
Conference, meeting & syndicate rooms
The oak panelled Pendennis I Suite is our principal conference room and can seat up to 120 delegates in theatre style. This room is fully climate controlled and has natural light and variable lighting to suit all occasions. HSIA via wireless is available. A permanent projection screen and the availability of LCD projection makes this an ideal room with full black-out capability.
The Pendennis II and III suites can seat up to 50 delegates in theatre style or 20-25 in a boardroom lay-out. This room offers similar facilities to Pendennis 1 and inter connects with it if required.
Further conference and meeting rooms are available for the one-to-one consultations and up to 25 delegates dependant upon the lay-out required. These rooms include The Boardroom; Canyons I and II; Corbar; Soloman. All rooms have wireless HSIA.
